This stunning girl began her show career in the summer of 2014, where she presented well at the American Whippet Club Midwest specialty, and accumulated several points towards her Canadian championship with ease at her first Canadian show weekend in September, 2014. In October, 2014, Pandora was awarded "Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes" at the Metropolitan Atlanta Whippet Association (MAWA) Specialty (on the American Whippet Club Southern Specialty weekend) in a large entry of 30 very promising young dogs.
This striking black brindle girl captured the attention of Whippet connoisseurs in Canada and the U.S. during her very successful show career. Pandora then blessed us with two beautiful litters (one, a record-setting frozen semen litter of 14 puppies!), and was retired from the show ring and the whelping box in 2018. She is now our guardian of home and hearth, alerting us to the presence of trespassing squirrels and chipmunks, and watching the skies above for hawks who may be threatening our puppies.
Less than nine months after her Canadian show debut, Pandora completed her Canadian Championship (shown below with Judge Joan Goldstein) with two 5-point wins on a Sighthound Specialty weekend.
